Packers fans were invited to bring the spirit of Green Bay to Palo Alto a day early with a Packers Everywhere pep rally at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18.
The festivities took place at The Patio, located at 412 Emerson St., Palo Alto, Calif. The Patio opened at 11 a.m., with pre-rally festivities and Packers prizing beginning at 4 p.m.
Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy took part in the pre-gameday excitement by greeting fans and participating in a Q-and-A session with the radio voice of the Packers, Wayne Larrivee. Packers alumni Jordy Nelson, Lynn Dickey and James Lofton were in attendance to socialize and take photos with fans and shared their thoughts on the next day’s game against the 49ers.
A roundtable discussion with Packers.com’s Mike Spofford and Wes Hodkiewicz concluded the event.
Fans who attended the rally were encouraged to sign up in advance for Packers Pass to have a chance to win autographed Packers items such as a Kenny Clark signed-helmet, Mason Crosby signed-jersey, and other prizes.
