- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
- Brown the hamburger with onion. Drain.
- Stir in the Velveeta cheese until melted.
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch slices, cutting every other one through to make sandwich pockets.
- Spoon the hamburger mixture into pockets.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Can also be grilled in foil!
