Really Sweet Packers Pickles

These are good by themselves or cut up into potato salad or tuna salad. The sugar will go to the bottom of the jar but will dissolve in a few days and make the pickles sweeter as time goes on.


- 1 46 oz jar kosher dill pickles
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup cider vinegar


- Drain off pickle juice then cut pickles into slices.
- Mix together the sugar and cider.
- Place sliced pickles back into jar- about 1/3 at a time, then pour mixture over the pickles.
- Add more pickles and more mixture till all are in the jar
- Cover with lid place in the refrigerator for three days, then serve.
