Green Bay Packers Chili

Submitted by Missy in Verona, WI

My grandfather was on the board of directors of the Packers when they built Lambeau and hired Lombardi. My grandparents were huge fans. This is what my grandma made on every game day and it is now a family tradition.

- 3 lbs ground beef
- 3 cans tomatoes
- 3 cans red beans
- 2 T chili powder
- 1 T paprika
- 1 t cumin seed
- 1 T oregano
- 3 chili peppers
- Garlic salt

- Brown ground beef and add to pan with tomatoes and spices.
- Simmer for at least 1 hour.
- Add beans. When beans are warm, serve over bite-size spaghetti.
- Add shredded cheese and raw onions if desired. My grandpa also added a little vinegar (don’t eat the chili peppers).
